Dear Mrs Eddy,

Last April I had an attack of bronchial trouble, which no medicine seemed to relieve. Hearing of Mrs Baggly's (a student of Dr Sherman) success, concluded to call her, and found immediate relieve.

She has had uphill work; since her arrival here, very few had heard of metaphysical healing, and were skeptical As Written: sceptical regarding good results, until As Written: untill she demonstrated it; by many remarkable cures. Her coming was certainly a blessing to many here. She works diligently from morning until As Written: untill night, devoting all her time to the causeEditorial Note: The cause of Christian Science., never turning the poorest and humblest from her door, treating all alike, with or without remuneration.

In writing your book; Science and HealthEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, you have erected a monument, in the hearts of men that certainly will never crumble.

No theology; or creed expounded, has ever brought mankind so near to God, since Jesus time. You portray "Him" so just and lovable, as I always thought He must be, though no creed since [?] Unclear or illegible  Supreme Being so.

Since reading your revised edition, have given some treatments, very successfully. but fail in doing much for myself, but hope to come into the truth, soon & be able to do so. I have tried hard to help brother, his teeth have become very loose. The best Dentists say they will drop out, and cannot be cured.

Some of your students, are so successful in giving absent treatments, should deem it a great favor, if you would kindly, give me the address of one

Respectfully
Miss Anna Eckerly.
