About a year ago I was in feeble health and had been so for two years, with spinal trouble, I had tried everythingAs Written:every thing that I knew of and at last I got the address of Mrs M. A. Poole then in SkowheganAs Written:Sknowhegan. MaineAs Written:Me now in South Boston and wrote to her and had her to treat me in the Christian ScienceAs Written:C. S. way & therebyAs Written:there by recovered my health and from that time I have been very much interested in this great truth of Christian Science. I have your booksEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy and read in them a great deal also the Journal. I thought I would write to you and see what your lowest terms would be and how many courses it would be necessary to take. I don’t know as I shall ever be able to come to your college but if there is any possible way I want to come I feel that I could do a great deal of good if I could only be a Christian ScientistAs Written:C. S. but I am afraid I shall not be able to as I am only a poor girl but I want to be so much that I thought I would write and see if it would ever be possible to get money enough to come I thought if I knew I would have it to hope for. If I could come any way I should want to come as soon as possible As Written: possibl please write as soon as you can and what your lowest terms would be as I am very anxious to know.
