So had opportunity for little in the way of lessons. only taking what might be termed the initiatory talk. But as I was familiar with the Ideal Philosophy as taught by the leading Idealists. fully believing in the control of mind over matter. in fact that “All is Mind” in the universality of Soul and the Divinity wraught Corrected: wrought out through each individual expression. I was somewhat prepared to see its application in the cure of the ills to which mortal mind has fallen heir. this was a new thought or I might say really a birth into a greater light. And I believe, before having laid fairly laid a foundation on which to build up my belief. I know there can be but one Infinite. And that an Infinite Good. that what we term evil is but incident. And that the Good must eventually prevail. that heaven or hell are but states of mind. that the material universe as we know it today is but an expression of Soul, having no control save in the mortal mind. I know that only in perfect harmony can we know absolute truth. And that through the Divine in each individual we may come in harmony with the whole. thereby bringing harmony which is eternal in place of discord which is but mortal. this in my soul I know is true, but I want to know much more with its application. for the world is so full of suffering that to the mortal mind is so real. that it seems as though it must excite the Infinite pity.
