Editorial Note: Patterson asks if Mary Baker Eddy would return some of the $100.00 ($2,669.22 in 2017)
that her husband, Thomas Patterson, paid Eddy when he took a class from her. Patterson says she needs the money to make
a payment on the mortgage of her home and feels that Eddy, as a Christian, will be
willing to return some of it knowing that Patterson is in need of it in order to keep
her home.
