Editorial Note: Peirce thanks Mary Baker Eddy for sending her a sample copy of The Christian Science Journal and thinks she has a clear conception of Eddy's philosophy. She adds, though, that
there is always an inner aspect to all religions and philosophies that is not put
on paper and requires a personal interview (apparently with the founder of the religion
or philosophy) in order to completely understand it.
