Mr Millard has returned from his Eastern trip, and has related to me his interview with you. also his convictions in favor of Metaphysical healing.

I desire to return my sincere thanks for your compliance with my request, in giving him your personal attention. This Western field is comparatively barren. Only since my visit to this city has the voice of Christian Science scarcely been heard. (A City of sixty thousand inhabitantsAs Written: inhabitance ) You will, therefore, readily see my reason, that a gentleman of Mr Millard’s position, & wealth, should be intelligent on the subject. The lady I came here to help was nearly overcome with the Error of her beliefs As Written: beleifs . I have been so desirous that the Truth should be triumphant in this wilderness of Mortal Minds, that day and night I have labored, zealously, and have been lead to Exclaim in genuine Methodistic fervor, “Brethren As Written:Bretheren pray for me, that I may be faithful unto the End”. The lady is getting better.

Yours Very Truly
A. A. Reed.
