My daughter Mrs. Wagner is very low with what the Dr's call Puerperal Toxacmic fever

Mrs Day has been giving her absent treatment for near three weeks,– But it does not seem to give way under her treatment

I will give you a diagnosis of her case, severe chills 3 or 4 in twenty-fourAs Written:twenty four followed by a high fever, and profuse sweating. Seems to have no severe pain seated anywhere but is wasting away – looks almost bloodless, but her strength holds out remarkably— those chills comes on at any time, when the fever is on, or off, it makes no difference, if you think you can give her absent treatment successfully – we place her in your hands, we, are very very anxious
