I received six copies As Written: coppies of Science & HealthEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy the 24th with bill, which I do not understand. Why should I be charged $15.78Editorial Note: $15.78 in 1886 is the equivalent of $526.31 in 2024. for six copiesAs Written:coppies, when others are charged but $15.06Editorial Note: $15.06 in 1886 is the equivalent of $502.29 in 2024. for six orAs Written:on $30.Editorial Note: $30.00 in 1886 is the equivalent of $1,000.58 in 2024. for twelve?

I know they were sent to Mrs Leavitt last winter at Lockport New YorkAs Written:N. Y for $30 & to people here.

The Express charge on mine was $1.10Editorial Note: $1.10 in 1886 is the equivalent of $36.69 in 2024. & at those prices it leaves not a trifle for myself, that although I am desirous to sell many, & would like to have them constantly on hand, I question if it will pay me for the trouble & receive nothing in return.

Very many of Evans books are being sold & recommended here, & it seems As Written: seams to me that there should be some inducement not only to recommend Science & Health, but that we should receive something for our labor.
