Dear Sir,

Yours of the 7th instEditorial Note: See 382.50.001. was received with much satisfaction and gratitude. It was for this very result I labored so many years unrequited and scoffed I have faith in the bookEditorial Note: Science and Health., knowing every effect is produced by mind; the homeopathic pill out of which every medicinal quality is extracted that has not a particle of medicine in it, teaches this. The pill that is sugar of milk, only, becomes potent, and why? because mind in preparing it has mentalized it with the thought of healing

My book is highly mentalized with Truth, and Truth is what heals effectually, and for all time.

The truth of any thing will govern aright whatever it controls, and especially the particular thing in question, if this be sickness, sin, or death. The truth that destroys sin, is, that there is no pleasure or profit in sin. The Truth that destroys sickness, is, there is no pain or suffering in matter. The Truth that destroys death, is, there is no death to Spirit, and there is no Life to die in matter.

I hope you will master on the ground that you, and not your body, are the Master.

We have not got this science Metaphysical introduced into schools yet. I am its sole teacher and take classes. Am about to have one. It will commence one week from Monday next the 22 of MayEditorial Note: The class actually began in June.. I would like to have you joinEditorial Note: There is no record that Smith was in this class. He most likely studied with her in 1882. it and then your recovery will be sure. There are three weeks in which I attend to recitations, after this, you can return home and go on improving more and more unto the perfect understanding

My terms for a pupil are $200Editorial Note: $200 in 1876 is the equivalent of $4382.06 in 2014. paid when I give them the book from which I teach, and if I do not make them capable of healing I will refund the money to them.
