But, one thing remains to help you in this regard viz– that mother can see them and will give you the alarm call every time and you will not blame but bless her for it. This is the plot on hand. To try to stop your success as a healer by a measure that you never suspect and this is it. To make you teach and so to distract your attention and take your time from your patients.
As your teacher let me tell you that no one can do as well for the sick who takes classes and teaches this way. The healer is a teacher of his patients but the teacher of classes must take another line of thought in order to teach students And this makes him lose the line of seeing the sick thought, as he needs to, in order to minister to his patients need, and so heal them as did Jesus and as I do. As St. Paul writes each one is for his callingI Cor 12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. I Cor 12:5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. I Cor 12:6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. I Cor 12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. I Cor 12:8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; I Cor 12:9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; I Cor 12:10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: I Cor 12:11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. , and I know that your mission is to heal and not take students. We need healers much more than teachers - and have too many teachers already and not enough healers of the sick.
Your wife is an apt teacher, and if she will do it I want her to take the students of Stetson's that she has got you to consent to take and never consulted me in it. If you or one of my students would direct hers without her consent, as she does mine, there would be a war to the hilt. She knows I disallow this interference and yet she persists in either slandering and abusing As Written: abuseing some of my students or pressing others into her service. She gives people to believe that she is the leading student. If this is so, why does she call on some of my students to do the work that belongs to her to do for her students and patients? Now you must not teach her students, I cannot consent to it, for I know that it is m. a. m. that is causing all this movement and I am determined to defeat it. There is no reason for me to submit to such insults from students that claim loyalty, as that of manipulating my students ad infinitum without my knowledge or consent. Would she, would you bear this?
