Please realize twice at least each day that the McClure and New York World pressmenEditorial Note: McClure's Magazine was a monthly American magazine founded in 1893 and credited with launching the era of "muckracking" journalism in the early 1900s. It published a series of articles, beginning in December 1906, about Mary Baker Eddy and Christian Science, containing many inaccuracies and false statements. In October 1906, the New York World had sent reporters to Concord, New Hampshire, to determine whether or not Mary Baker Eddy was still alive. Even though they were able to have a brief meeting with her, their reporting was still filled with speculation and false statements. cannot, will not send out another lie about Christian Science. Show them it will only injure their press, not Christian Scientists.

Please inform the Boston branch of Committee on BusinessEditorial Note: The Committee on Business was a committee formed to do specific prayerful work during times when Mary Baker Eddy and Christian Science were facing particular challenges, such as the allegations in the press from McClure's Magazine and others at this time. to do the same. Do not name me in your arguments.
