Arens, a former student of Eddy’s who had drifted away to develop his own mental healing practice and did not teach accurate Christian Science. only because it makes it harder for you and me to teach you aright afterwards HisEditorial Note: Likely Edward J. Arens so called students are not teaching metaphysical healing They may think they are but you will learn if you study the great difference between the right and the imitation They mix it with matter and isms shockingly it loses the science in their hands and becomes a belief It is somewhat painful for me who has done all the work and who discovered it in the first place to see them traffic As Written: trafic in so great a subject like it was a money As Written: mony exchange

Will you please let me know the price of your copyingEditorial Note: Mary Baker Eddy had apparently engaged Curtis to do copying in connection with her work on the third edition of her book, Science and Health, which was published on August 17, 1881. just the same as if you were not going into my class? I aIways like to do my business all, understandingly. I have no chance to see you on Sunday and if you will drop me a line it will greatly oblige me and state the value of your labor Your copy looks well I have not yet had time to examine it
