My dear Student,

I am very thankful you have shown your power to resist temptation and to rise superior to the suggestions of silent sinners. You were a good girl to do as you said and nothing elevates one so much as to right a wrong when it lies in ones power; and the greater the cross the greater will be the reward in results. I know you feel better, dear one, if you have done just as you say you have, and believe me, I do not doubt it.

Now this is my love for a student, a Mothers love, that I cannot omit the rebuke they need because of the blessing it is to them, now and forever. But I never take them up mentally, always verbally, I give them my counsel and thus seek to guide their thoughts in the straight and narrow way ― for such indeed must be found the path to heaven. The harmony of our being can never be reached while we cherish a single discord, hence, the only way is to struggle womanly with every error until it yields to Truth and the victory is decided on the side of immutable and immortal right

I find new strength every day coming to me. I can now bear all that comes in the shape of wrongs and burdens calmly and silently

O, thank God for the fires that burn up the dross of our mortal thoughts and acts and bring out the image of our Father who never sins or repents. ― The mind that is perfect and the body that is immortal. I must not write more I am in great haste today I have so much writing on hand now, something that I have not spoken of to the students, and please keep it that I am writing. Tomorrow the meeting is here, will you come? I hope it will be so that you can.

Our "Union" meeting is adjourned sine dieEditorial Note: Indefinitely, with no future date designated., will let you know when we get together again.

Yours truly
