Mrs Crosse read me your letterEditorial Note: This letter is not extant. yesterday and I haste to answer As Written: ans. Do not mind the poor boy. It is terribly trying, and we must I fear have him leave, but if others had gone before they grew more, I shudder to think of the result, hence I have waited, hoping for him.

You did a grand thing when you secured the evidence, of which I am informed. Keep right on. Work while the day lasts. Have straightened things wonderfully.
