My dear Student

I have made you one of the Trustees in my new deed of the land. You had no authority from the first deed to obtain money for reading rooms. This cannotAs Written:can not be allowed morally or legally. Keep your contributors' money and use it for the purpose specified in your first deed from Knapp, and the second from me, or you will certainly lay yourself liable to what? God's justice and legal claims.

AnswerAs Written:Ans. at once

P. S. After getting the names for the charter members of our church the Commissioner As Written: Commisioner said that none but residents in MassachusettsAs Written:Mass. could be charter members. This involved getting the signatures over again.

Next this legal man objects to letting this church be called the First ChurchAs Written:Chr. of Christ, Scientist, because the old church was named Church of Christ Scientist, and because there was in Boston a Baptist Church called First Church of Christ! Think of this! But I am not surprised. My students tried six months years ago to get a church charter and failed, but I got it in one day. Now God does not seem willing for me to put my hand forth on obtaining a charter and organizing a church As Written: chuch , hence my obedience as abovenamedAs Written:above named. Oh may He show us all, His will and let it be doneMatt 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Again As Written: Agan yours
