Dear Sarah

Owing to my want of time I have delayed to reply, and I am too busy now to attend to the matter if you should call

I had thought to do you a favor but you seemed not to understand it So we will let the writings stand as they are the conditions which I proposed to you not being met; but this I will do I will call your percentage ten centsEditorial Note: Ten cents in 1873 is the equivalent of $2.00 in 2015. on a dollarEditorial Note: $1.00 in 1873 is the equivalent of $19.97 in 2015. for this year 1873.
