My beloved Child

Words cannot express my pleasure on reading your letter Your wisdom as a wife gives me such satisfaction Yes, by all means go with your noble husband to Florida I believe, yea, I understand that a good wife converts her husband to what is good. The exceptions to this rule are rare- I am so often pierced by this lack of goodness and common sense in some wives who are called scientistsEditorial Note: Christian Scientists that I appreciate your course I know it is a narrow path but some will find itMatt 7:13 ¶Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Matt 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. and you are one. I will see you, darling, if possible before you start. But I am more than ever now full of work While the students were rejoicing in the Temple of our GodEditorial Note: This is a reference to the completion of the building of the Original Edifice of The Mother Church., I was struggling at home

After their feast was over hundreds or fifties of letters came for me to answer, and students came to see me whom I must see to set things right, and old scores must all be brought to Mother for amicable settlement. So I hang between earth and heaven, but need time to get out my little pamphletEditorial Note: This is a reference to Pulpit and Press, which included Eddy's sermon read at the dedication of The Mother Church on January 6, 1895. of Sermon and services on Jan. 6th With my regards to your husband
