My dear Alice,

I have not heard from you for a long time, have you forgotten me, or ceased to write only because you were so busy?

Well dear, I have a chance to see you now if you will take the chance and come here on any leisure day of yours next week. I shall lecture in CharlestownAs Written:Charleston next Sunday (by express invitation in private parlors) and one week from the 20th inst shall speak here

This then is the best way, I think, for you to visit me one week from Sat. next on the 26th of this month and pass the Saturday and Sunday with me. What say?

Love to your folks all, and answer at once

Ever the same, Lovingly
