My dear Lord Dunmore:

Your favor at hand. Your daughtersEditorial Note: Lady Victoria A. Murray and Lady Mildred Murray are beautiful figures As Written: figuris in Christian Science history. Lady Dunmore's question as to wedlock I leave this to this century to answer. Under the precedents of todayAs Written:to day it is sacred; and a benediction in families like thine. We know that under some circumstances marriage is blessed on the basis – thus it becometh us to educate mortal mind – the human up to out of itself where the Divine is found All in All. But no sexuality, and unity in Divine Love, is absolute Christian Science. Now for the next point of your most interesting letter that is indeed confidential Mr. E. A. Kimball is devoted to help me till the bogus lawsuitEditorial Note: This is a reference to a libel suit against Mary Baker Eddy by Josephine Curtis Woodbury. The suit was filed on July 31, 1899 and concluded in Eddy’s favor on June 5, 1901. is done. This detains him in BostonEditorial Note: Boston, Massachusetts all winter and perhaps the spring

Now I have a proposition. Would it be offensive to you to be appointed a member of the Board of LectureshipEditorial Note: Christian Science Board of Lectureship under the auspices of my ChurchEditorial Note: The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston, Massachusetts in Boston? I appointed Judge Ewing he is very popular at the bar and on the bench here. You know best of all how to suit your people. May I appoint you to lecture on Christian ScienceAs Written:C. S.?
