Your letterEditorial Note: See 025A.10.033. announces your feelings, a desire and fixed effort for some time past to do nothing with me, but in obedience to the mental direction of your known enemies to keep yourself aloof from all cooperation and then as in your letterEditorial Note: See 025A.10.033. insinuate that you are deemed of "no account" Every one who has seen my life knows that I have at every sacrifice sustained, and justified, and promoted you. But even that is not enough
I hope you are not supposing I feel bad that you take fifty students in one class. I have learned from such experience as mine to expect instead of being surprised at just your present mood. If it continues you will fulfill the prophecy of hundreds.
I have heard you have told others that I prevented your lecturing, even when I was trying to get you to do it, and you would not because I was in the room or on the stand. I suppose under the influence that you are yielding to you imagine I tried to prevent your teaching etc. Etc. May God open your eyes and save you from the error of such wrongs done to me
