Your letter of Jan. 25 84 at hand. I shall not reply to any insult to myself, but when you advise me not to be guided by my loving, honored, mother, or by my husband so true and devoted, I must in justice to these two best Friends who have watched with untiring love and Faithfulness over my welfare, at my sick bed, in sorrow & suffering, one for 32 years the other 12 years and without price say your advice falls unheeded by me, yea more, it destroys my confidence & respect for you the Pastor of a Church, a woman and mother yourself, professing the greatest Christianity ever professed by woman before.

I thank God for my Cynthia C. Childs and my George D. Choate: they have never inspired you in word or deed as these whom you invite to your meetings testify. God is no respector of personsActs 10:34 ¶Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: Acts 10:35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. and “ what you have measured to another shall be measured to you again pressed down & running over.Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

The consciousness of truth and right support them and myself also. God reigns and time will tell the truth of us all.
