Editorial Note: This document is a copy of a letter sent to Clara E. Choate, informing her of her
expulsion from the Church of Christ (Scientist). The reasons for the expulsion are
given as falsification and obscene conduct, unaccompanied by repentance and a humble
spirit. It is further stated that Choate's expulsion is the action of the Church,
and not of its Pastor, Mary Baker Eddy.
