Editorial Note: George D. Choate defends his wife, Clara E. Choate, from what he believes to be false accusations against her by Mary Baker Eddy. He enumerates her virtues, although he does say that Clara can be "high tempered" at times. He also defends himself against Eddy's accusation that his practice of Christian Science is "unscientific," and he asserts that it is in strict accord with her teachings.
