My very dear Teacher

I have nothing to write of interest but must take a moment of your time to tell you I am working for the cause & doing just as near as I can as you have taught me. I shall not leave here till Mr Joseph Cook is healed. He begins to understand a little & is very slowly coming in Oh! why is it some of my patients whose influence is so little respond so quickly while this case that would do so much for the causeEditorial Note: The cause of Christian Science. is so slow.? I shall carry it. I shall convince him even tho' it seems discouraging I have seen Mrs Leonard often. She is working very hard & doing good work She is faithful to your teachings Also Mrs Brown She is working hard. I have not seen Mrs Lathrop for a week. She is so busy I think I wouldnotintrude. She has not yet called on me but I know she has no time. You have need of workers here for mind cure is planted thickly. I feel I ought to stay & help to carry the Truth forward but I am only looking to this cure now which I have undertaken. & then will see how it looks for future I speak three times this week & to quite large audiences I call on Dr Hall & Simpson Monday I want to get intoAs Written:in to Dr Hall's congregation with Truth & shall do it for Mr Cook will help me
