My dear Teacher

Your letter came a few days ago Nettie was not at home and I wanted to hear from her– I will comply with your wish. When my year is out Nettie, I hope, can take the course and take my place Mama hopes to come the same time. I do love Christian Science and shall always do all I can in it. It is my greatest wish and hope. If I were obliged to give it up should not be married My intended has promised never to interfere As Written: interfear with my religion.

Thank you, Dear teacher, for your good wishes and blessing. I shall live a Christian life and Error cannot control me. Whatever work presents itselfAs Written:its self here I will do until Nettie is ready to teach– There is now very little to do as Mrs. A C Fisk has taken it upon herselfAs Written:her self to rent a Church and teach a class- free -in Christian ScienceAs Written:C. S. -(Hopkins Lectures she reads) so she claims it Christian ScienceAs Written:C. S.— she has 250. people What a class – they cannot all hear her speak even– I shall never ask you to take her now– And if I have thought before that she was fitted for entering your College I now think very differently– I sent to Mr Fry I believe to renew my certiffecate and have seen nothing of it yet should like it immediately as I must renew two classes soon– It was due in May please let Nettie know as long as you can beforehand so that she can get her money ready– She has been in TrinidadEditorial Note: Trinidad, Colorado treating – and says she would not part with her demonstrations there for anythingAs Written:any thing –she has been so successful–
