My very dear teacher

I write you today in behalf of Mrs R. Pontius, she has thought all the while that she could enter your next primary class. She went to Council BluffsEditorial Note: Council Bluffs, Iowa expecting As Written: expectimg to start Wednesday with her Sister Mrs Tickner for Boston, on arriving found that she could not go into class now. She does not understand why she is not accepted as she received notice some time ago that she could enter class.

My dear Mrs Eddy Mrs Pontius I know well and consider her in every way worthy , even as much so as her Sister Mrs Tickner. Mrs Pontius came over to Omaha today As Written: to-day - she is very much distressed at the thought of not going into your next class and asked me would I write and ask what objection you had against her, and if you might not reconsider her case and take her now, and if so, would you telegraph her at 621 Broadway, Council Bluffs Iowa.
