Dear Brother.

Not having heard what action if any, was taken at the adjourned As Written: ajourned meeting of our association, concerning the resolutions introduced by H. P Smith. I write, to enquire if the Committee have revised those resolutions? I am aware of the anomalous relation in which I appear being Chairman to make this enquiry of a member of the Committee– But as I understood from you and also from Bro. BaileyEditorial Note: Henry P. Bailey or Edward A. Bailey that the matter would be further considered at the adjourned As Written: ajourned meeting– which would be perfectly satisfactory to me, I only wish to know if I have any duty to attend to as regards that matter. I earnestly hope, that yourself and Bro B have revised and published those resolutions in such manner as will show to the world the utter falsity of Mr Gills malicious attacks upon Mrs Eddy, and also of our fullest confidence in her as being a pure and godly woman. If this has not been attended to please appoint As Written: apoint a meeting of the committee, notify, and I will attend. Please let it be some hour in the day. not night.

Yours in Truth
Alfred Lang
