I must write you a few words at least, you seem such a dear friend, through your books, and I am having such splendid success through your teachings.
I suppose you know I was in Mr. Filberts Jan. class. I was too poor to come to you at first, but now I want to come to your college so I can teach There are several that wish to learn the science. My first patient asked me this morning if I did not want her to go to Council Bluffs and learn to help me. I told her no, I would sooner she would wait until I could go to your college then I could teach the science.
I wrote Mr. Filbert about teaching. One girl, the Dr's. had given up with the belief ConsumptionEditorial Note: tuberculosis, Could not move her feet when I began, two weeks ago. This morning her mother told me I need not come any more or treat her, as she had found the Light in reading your book–. and my instructions. She felt safe in letting me stop treatment, until they let me know, if they need any more.
I hope I have not written too long a letter, but it seems to me I could not tell you less. As a lady said in class "Oh isn't it lovely". to see the sick get well so fast.
