I have written to Dr StoneEditorial Note: Probably Hosea E. Stone tonight As Written: to night . Your letterEditorial Note: This letter is not extant. did me much good. and I hope before very long to show you that your advice does not fall unheeded. Yes others beside Dr & Mrs Sawyer knew of my beliefs. Jennie Harvey knew of them & I think wrote Mrs Choate about me. and I think some others knew of them in Chicago. a Mrs Phelon, who was a spiritualist. who studied with Dr Sherman before he went to you.
Do not be discouraged about me. I will pull through, and not give up for (error is nothing) and God has given me this power & no mortal mind can take it from me.
There is a patient of mine who has been deformed for nearly forty years, who is being healed, and who is very anxious to study ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science with you. I think he & his wife will join your next class if you will allow. him to before he has gotten rid of his belief of deformity. He is a good man & one who will devote his whole life & time to the work.
I shall have to write him as soon as I hear from you. his wife is just as good asAs Written:& he. and some like Mrs Sherman in her ways. always producing harmony out of discord.
I hope to introduce seven new Students to you your next class. will do the best I can. Truth is progressing in spite of all obstacles.
