My Dear Teacher.

At a regular (also the annual) meeting of the abovenamedAs Written:above named Association the following vote was passed by a unanimous voice of the members. Viz: "That the Secretary cast the vote of the Association for the election of the Officers of the Association for the current year," In compliance with that vote, it gives me great pleasure to inform you of your election to the office of President of the Association for the year 1887. I also notify you that J. A Linfield and C. A. S Troup were elected your associate members on the board of Officers, respectively as Secretary and Treasurer for the year 1887. Miss Mourn who has been Treasurer for the past few years declined a reelectionAs Written: re-election .
