Mrs Silsbee wrote her aunt Miss Smith that you were expecting to come to Chicago the first of May to instruct a class in Christian Science

Will you not come to ColumbusEditorial Note: Columbus, Wisconsin before you return? I do hope that you can have a little time with us here in this quiet country place. I dare not say you need rest that would be contrary to Science.Editorial Note: Christian Science

I thank you for your dear letter.Editorial Note: This letter is not extant. Mr Williams is not yet well, but he bears with me still. My Aunt has recovered and my other patients are all doing well. Mr W. is better and then has returns of the same belief.Editorial Note: John Williams had been suffering from cancer. I am pleased with the Journal as seem those who have recently subscribed. Several of the ladies will buy the books.Editorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. One lady received her books this morning. Mrs N. Sawyer. She would like to study but her husband is not agreeable at present, he is now ill and has been during the winter with rheumatism in belief. I presume you were surprised and pleased to see Mrs Silsbee again

I am glad to know of her excellent success. Mrs Fuller I think is improving but she has not patients. I hope you are settled in your new quarters. I am glad that you did not have to move far. Mrs Silsbee gave a good account of Dr Sherman and familyEditorial Note: Roger Sherman and Martha E. Sherman how I rejoice to know there are some efficient workers that do not disgrace the Cause.Editorial Note: The cause of Christian Science. I am ashamed of myself as regards my husband. If I am not able to help him in time I shall not take patients to treat – I dare not tell you how I feel sometimes – Should you have time when you are settled in Chicago please give me your address. I shall go to Milwaukee the latter part of next week on business you need not take the time to write me only to send your number and if you can come out here how happy I shall be. I love you and your precious booksEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures with my bible are my constant companions. But what I desire most to do I fail in – you are ashamed of me I know.
