Accession: 639P3.65.023
Editorial Title: Edwin R. Robbins to Mary Baker Eddy, July 3, 1882
Author: Edwin R. Robbins
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: July 3, 1882
Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Edwin R. Robbins on lined paper from Lynn, Massachusetts.
Archival Note: This letter is missing a page or pages at the end.
Editorial Note: Robbins has received a letter from Mary Baker Eddy (not extant), saying that she has found the lost check. He is happy that she has found it because if she hadn't, it could have caused her considerable annoyance, if not actual loss. He encloses a bank draft from First National Bank in Lynn, Massachusetts, that she can use with vouchers to collect future payments of his rent on Eddy's house at 8 Broad Street, Lynn, Massachusetts. Robbins understands that Hanover P. Smith called at the First National Bank in Lynn and inquired as to Robbin's business standing with them, but did not receive a satisfactory answer. Robbins said that Smith did not inquire correctly.
