Editorial Note: Mayo has been asked by a member of the Ladies Physiological Institute to invite Mary Baker Eddy to lecture before the Institute and suggests the third Thursday in January 1883 at 3 p.m. The venue would be Wesleyan Hall at 36 Bromfield Street in Boston. The subject of the lecture can be any that Eddy prefers. Mayo asks for an early reply, and she says that if Eddy accepts, they will need her subject ten days before the date of the lecture for the purpose of advertising. Eddy's reply to Mayo's letter is not extant.
