In reply to your inquiry about Mrs. Eddy's photo for the exhibit will say she has one (cabinet size,) that she would send for an album of the character previously As Written: prevously alluded to, but I think it would be highly improper to place so small a framed picture in the exhibit.
My idea is that the only suitable way the photo could be used would be to place it inAs Written:is an album among other leading characters.
P. S. Mrs Eddy gave the copyright of the picture of her home to S. A. Bowers on condition that he place a sketch of five different views of her home on exhibition at the World's Fair. This he agreed to do. He said he was one of the Committee on Photography from New York, and that the picture would be placed among their exhibit.
Will you please see if any such picture is among their exhibit or whether it is to be found anywhere at the Fair. It would certainly include on one plate the two views given in the June JournalEditorial Note: Images showing Mary Baker Eddy's Pleasant View home from the front and the rear were published at the beginning of the June 1893 issue of The Christian Science Journal. They were captioned, "Country Residence of Rev. Mary B. G. Eddy" If you find it please describe its dimensions As Written: dimentions and what it includes,
Am sorry to ask so much of you.
Fraternally yours
C. A. Frye.
