Mother has just received As Written: recieved a postal from Miss Draper. for Mother and I to be sure and be at Church next sunday afternoon to join the Church. Probably Mother will come. but Dear Mrs Eddy you must excuse me as I shall not join the Church. I should be committing a greater sin to join than not to. When members belong to a Church they generally unite to be as one and love one another and treat them decent ly. but you are not aware that Mrs Choate don't As Written: dont recognize and despises me and has brought her little Warren up to dislike me and he won't As Written: wont speak. for what I know not I have tried to do right and never should have told you this but I could have no other excuse. And I could not be guilty of being a member when at swords point with another.
Also Mrs Choate does not tell the truth about her healing She told of a Gentleman in Boston that had the pneumonia As Written: pheumonia the same as father did and she told how sick he was and how soon she got him out she gave the man's As Written: mans name and where he lived, and there were two of the Church members went and saw the Gentleman named and he had not been sick nor she had never treated him. she had doctored in his family but not for that.
Now please don't As Written: dont ask me to be a member for I have made up my never to join another as long as I live I can try and do just as near right and will sing for you or anything As Written: aything I can do to please you with pleasure.
