Accession: 509Z.56.007
Editorial Title: Abbie K. Whiting to Mary Baker Eddy, January 1883
Author: Abbie K. Whiting
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: January 1883 - archivist estimate
Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Abbie K. Whiting on embossed lined paper.
Archival Note: There is a list of names on the back of the last page of this letter that do not seem to be related to the content of the letter.
Editorial Note: Whiting tells Mary Baker Eddy about some unspecified problems. Some appear to be financial, as she mentions selling some property, and others physical. She would like Julia S. Bartlett to come and see her, but she adds that Bartlett might not want to as she has no patience with Whiting's "false belief." Whiting asks Eddy if she has seen the negative news about Charles Eastman in the papers and is concerned that it may reflect badly on Christian Science. She closes with the hope that she will hear from Eddy soon, as she is "starving for something from the college atmosphere."
