Through Mr. A. S. Lang I came to be interested in your works. and have endeavored to make a study of your books.Editorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. having for some time supposed that I was in poor health and having lost my wife of acute trouble two months since Mr Lang is a brother of Miss. S. LangEditorial Note: This is possibly a reference to his daughter, Susie M. Lang. of Lawrence Mass. one of your former students we understand.

My object was to endeavor to spend the month of June in Boston studying at your college. But Mr Lang writes me that are teaching a class in Chicago. If it is possible for me to get instruction from you there. I would like to do so. Could I be informed where and when instruction could be given me?

I was educated as a chemist in the materialistic belief mostly. and supposed poor health caused me to give up the profession.

It would be most convenient for me to go to Chicago. if it is possible to get instruction As Written: intstuction there.
