My dear Student,

You were not at church last Sunday and I have no other means but to write on the subject I should rather have conversed I want to lecture in SalemEditorial Note: Salem, Massachusetts and I want Mr Dane and others from DaverseEditorial Note: Danvers, Massachusetts to hear me I shall speak extemporaneously and they will be much more Edified by it Wont you do your very best to get me a good attendance I want numbers and if it is well heralded I shall get them Please answer at once if you can get a Hall in Salem what its cost and if we can have it next Wednesday evening If you think I could get a good house let us know at once and we will get out the handbills I want people from Danvers etc to come
