Dear Brother and SisterEditorial Note: Early Christian Scientists frequently referred to one another as “brother” and “sister.”.

To you greeting, be strong in the LordEph 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. for the devil is exceeding worth knowing he has but a short timeRev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. . The conflict will of necessity be great as the division is being made but we shall conquer if we receive not the mark of the beast and shall not be conquered unless we receive his mark and there is found in our foreheads the opposite mark from that of the beastRev 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. that if we take our position strong in the Lord and sustain Truth.

Your Teacher sees that S is writing to the other enemies of Truth to join him we shall need to be a unit in Truth to meet the hour. I find you and I reached everyone we took up in Truth and carried a large portion of them we need only to keep up our fire unflinchingly to the end and the Lord has said the victory shall be ours.

Will you both continue to take up Mrs Eddy in regard to S with me after retiring commencing 9¼ P. M. then Mr Atkinson then Mr Colby then Mrs H. Dunnels[*]Editorial Note: This is a request from Eddy to the Prescotts to pray for the protection of the individuals named from Daniel H. Spofford’s mental malpractice.
