Your precious letter and words of encouragement welcomed me home from LawrenceEditorial Note: Lawrence, Massachusetts this eve, and you would be happy if you knew how persistently my two students are working & they are both women of course. We are all doing well there & these meetings rouse more general interest and we meet many minds by them. I shall certainly follow your advice and commence them next week in LawrenceEditorial Note: Lawrence, Massachusetts . This Thursday we have our usual meeting and Sunday they meet here and Monday next I commence my third Class with four, three paying & one charity student, and in the evening I commence the reading of “Science & Health” with my own and all of your students (that will come) and then we will talk & explain to each other what we can etc. These readings I propose for once a week to unite & join interest of all the students and to help the weak or faltering. No visitors will be present -- it is exclusive for students -- and would we not all welcome you! Well I hope to have so much done when you return. Now don't be disappointed if I cannot carry all into execution at once but I shall do all I can. Miss Bartlett is such a good woman & how terribly she has been led in the wrong about me. I have done wrong as I tell them but if I am righting that wrong why need they all treat me so? & now Miss Battles & Mrs.Day have joined hands over Mrs. Woodbury and myself, but that does not discourage Mrs. W. or myself only it is hard to endure -- But you my Darling have had an hundred times more so we will not complain & God will right all wrongs in time. My brotherEditorial Note: Earnest Childs & husband are doing something and both send love.

I have lots to do and it is late so will close with love to the Dr.Editorial Note: Asa Gilbert Eddy.
